It’s one thing when you see someone else on YouTube react to a newly released music video, but even more enjoyable when the original artists record their reaction to their own music.
BTS met up with Cho.MPD of M! Countdown on May 7th where they were given the mission of “Self MV Reaction,” and revealed some interesting facts about the music video “I NEED U” (not the original, but the edited version).
But first of…gotta move out of this cramp space their in and into a much bigger room via INSTANT TELEPORATION!
Fact #1: The motel Suga is in is called the Goya Motel. Goya is the name of the music video director’s son.
J-Hope thinks he’s quite the handsome when his part came up ㅋㅋㅋ But the rest of the members are unimpressed ^^;
Reliving going up the train for a scene…and J-Hope still looks terrified just by watching it ㅠㅠ
Fact #2: Their two managers made a cameo appearance as extras.
Rap Monster says, “We didn’t have enough money for filming. We replaced the actors with our managers,” and Jimin adds, “I was going to do it, but I was too small.”
…And then Rap Monster’s solo comes…and Jin hilariously asks, “Why does this gas station suddenly comes out?” Apparently, Rap Monster has no idea either! ㅋㅋㅋ
During J-Hope’s bridge scene, Rap Monster reveals, “Ah~ When J-Hope filmed this scene, all the staff fell asleep,” but J-Hope defended his scene and said it was filmed last! ㅋㅋㅋ
And then Jimin showed up, and he’s super proud of his scene! Look at his giant smile!
Fact #3: “Due to the music video screening, about 80 cuts were taken out of the original version. So there’s a choppy feeling.” (Suga)
Jimin making fun of V ㅋㅋㅋ
BONUS: Failed group fighting~ xD
