5 Reasons Why BLACKPINK’s Jisoo And Jung Hae In Are The K-Drama Couple We Need

They are co-starring in the K-Drama “Snowdrop.”

This year, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo and actor Jung Hae In are co-starring in Snowdrop, a K-Drama that takes place in the late 1980s. Many fans are looking forward to watching the stars’ on-screen romance for these 5 reasons, and many more!

1. Their chemistry.

In JTBC‘s teaser clip for Snowdrop, viewers were given a taste of what’s to come. Although it was brief, we can already feel the connection between Jung Hae In’s character and Jisoo’s.

A single look was all it took to bring this “pure love story” to life!

2. They are pros as tugging our heartstrings.

Snowdrop marks Jisoo’s first lead role, but she already has some acting credits to her name. She played a supporting role in KBS‘s The Producers and appeared in tvN‘s Arthdal Chronicles.

In BLACKPINK’s music videos, Jisoo’s emotional performances have wrecked BLINK — in a good way.

As for Jung Hae In, he has sucker-punched our hearts in several popular K-Dramas, including While You Were Sleeping. Imagine how much emotional damage they will inflict on us together!

3. They make us laugh even more than they make us cry.

Jisoo and Jung Hae In both have a knack for comedy on-screen and in real life. It’s impossible not to fall in love with their loveable, fun personalities…

…and their characters’ too!

4. They’re playing characters we’ll want to root for.

Snowdrop takes place during the 1987 Democracy Movement: a historic push for fair elections in South Korea’s government. Jung Hae In plays Im Soo Ho, a graduate student who crosses paths with a female university student (Jisoo) after he attends a pro-democracy protest.

This student hides In Soo Ha from the government in her dorm room. From what we know about these characters so far, they’re courageous, caring, and they have a strong sense of what’s right. Who wouldn’t want to cheer for a couple like that?

5. They already have that “power couple” look.

People say you shouldn’t just a book by its cover, but come on. Just look at these two.
