Over the years, it has become more common for K-Pop idols to go into acting, and many have shone in various K-Dramas and films, despite many netizen’s reservations. From the likes of ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, EXO‘s D.O, Park Hyung Sik, 2PM‘s Taecyeon, and many more, idols have stolen the hearts of K-Drama viewers!
Recently, Korean media outlet Sports DongA had a look at some of the idols in the industry who are shining. Here is a look at the three they picked who represent the future generation of actors.

In particular, Jinyoung has shone recently in the tvN K-Drama The Devil Judge alongside veteran actor Ji Sung.
After choosing not to resign with JYP Entertainment, it seems like Jinyoung has found a home with BH Entertainment, who have allowed him to pursue these ventures. In the second half of the year, Jinyoung is expected to star in the K-Drama Yumi’s Cells, and fans will look forward to seeing him continue to grow.
