8 K-Pop Artists Who Made The Most Random Yet Iconic Songs

These are all great songs!

Nothing beats K-Pop idols flexing their creative skills in hilarious ways!

Here are 8 K-Pop artists who delighted their fans by releasing random, sometimes funny, and always iconic songs!

1. Jin (BTS)

Jin’s “Super Tuna” is iconic! Jin has been very vocal about his love for fishing for years, and this song was the perfect way to celebrate his hobby.

“Super Tuna” is an adorably hilarious trot song about fishing. Jin went all out with this song, and he even made a special performance video of “Super Tuna” for ARMY!

2. Hoshi (SEVENTEEN)

Hoshi’s tiger agenda never stops! He wrote the song “Horangi Power,”and the lyrics hilariously remind fans that he prefers being called a tiger over being called a hamster. He recently performed the song during SEVENTEEN’s Power of Love online concert. Needless to say, it was awesome!

Hoshi also wrote a song on the spot about stealing S.Coups‘ hat, and it’s just as hilarious as “Horangi Power!”

3. Minhyuk and Joohoney (MONSTA X)

“Ongshimi” is filled to the brim with humor just like a bowl of ongshimi soup!

Some fans believe the song is about comparing someone you love to the potato dumplings used in ongshimi, and others believe the song is about Minhyuk and Joohoney’s love for ongshimi itself. While opinions on the song’s meaning may be divided, we can all agree that “Ongshimi” is a bop!

4. MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO managed to make arguing about height differences sound amazing! “1cm (Taller Than you)” is all about the members discussing their heights. The creative song has an old school hip-hop vibe and includes lyrics about the taller members bragging about the 1 centimeter height difference between them and the shorter members.

“AZE GAG” is all about dad jokes, so it definitely falls into the random category, too! The lyrics are filled with Korean puns like “everyone’s pie is wifi.” Although the lyrics are hilarious, the song is a bop!

5. Jungkook (BTS)

Jungkook once sang a song about ordering pork belly, and it was hilarious! He posted the song to Twitter, and ARMYs were delighted by the funny song and his beautiful voice.

In the lyrics, he promised to post a proof photo of what he ate, and he followed through on his promise!

6. SHINee

SHINee’s “Woof Woof” is so underrated! The lyrics tell the story about a dog who saw a pretty girl walking and decided to follow her. It might be a metaphor for falling in love with someone at first sight, or it might actually just literally be about a dog. Who knows, and honestly who cares when the song is this good!

SHINee performed this song at their SHINee World Concert IV in 2015. They went all out and wore dog ears and tails for the performance.

7. BamBam and Yugyeom (GOT7)

In case you forgot these 2 GOT7 members are young and rich, they have a song to remind you! They teamed up for the song “97 Young & Rich.” As the name suggests, the song is full of lyrics that show off how wealthy they are despite being so young.

“97 Young & Rich” may be full of bravado but these “young kings” definitely deserve to brag!

8. N.Flying

N.Flying has us forever chanting “one spaghetti, one chicken taco!” This song was created after Cha Hun ordered food from the group’s hotel room. He ordered one spaghetti, one chicken taco, and two beef tacos. As the rest of the band listened to him order they started saying “one spaghetti, one chicken taco.”

Later, on Seunghyub‘s birthday, the band created the song “One Spaghetti, One Chicken Taco,” and the song was an instant hit with fans!
