Actor Lee Jae Yoon Confesses He Never Wanted To Become An Actor

Lee Jae Yoon, who played a major role in the MBC drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, recently sat down for an interview where he shared how he got into acting.

During the interview, while talking about how he got his start in acting, he explained that he actually never wanted to become an actor.

While he admits that he “always wanted to become famous,” Jae Yoon never thought he’d do it through a TV screen. Instead, he hoped to become an athlete!

“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to become famous. I wanted to represent my country and also Asia as a whole…

I actually never wanted to become an actor instead, I wanted to become an athlete, or do something related to sports.”

Just looking at his incredible frame, it’s clear Jae Yoon has the body of an athlete, but he originally hoped to make a career out of sports.

Even as a big Korean actor, Lee Jae Yoon is still an active athlete, practicing Jiu Jitsu and working closely with the sports brand Puma.
