ARMY Mistook BTS’s J-Hope For RM, And Here’s The Hilarious Reason Why

Could they be picking up each other’s habits?

What do BTS‘s RM and J-Hope have in common?

Well, not to state the obvious, but they’re members of BTS.

They’re also incredibly skilled rappers.

Anything else? Hmm. They’re Korean? As for appearances, though, they’re two unique individuals. They are certainly not two that are easily mistaken for each other.

Yet, they were just mistaken for each other recently. On November 1, J-Hope shared some photos on Twitter.

He had gone to the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is managed by the Samsung Foundation of Culture.

J-Hope went with another art-lover of the group, none other than V. The museum consists of both traditional Korean art and contemporary art, so it’s right down their alley!

To some, it was clearly J-Hope who posted from his recognizable figure and fashion sense to even the emoji usage. He even included one of his iconic mirror selfie poses!

Those who stay updated from Weverse would also recognize the “mirror selfie” as being quite similar to one of the moments shared by J-Hope to the app. That’s definitely our Hope!

Still, upon first glance, others were quick to comment messages for a member who was not present: RM.

RM, of course, is well-known for “namjooning,” the act of living as Kim Namjoon, which often consists of visiting museums. It’s one of his favorite leisurely activities, and it’s become so associated with him at this point that whenever we see museum photos on BTS’s account, we automatically assume it’s RM who posted.

The last time BTS posted museum photos on Twitter, it was, in fact, RM. He shared photos from the “Memories of Yun Hyong Keun” exhibition for artist Yun Hyong Keun at PKM Gallery.

This time, however, it was just J-Hope and V enjoying a break together. Everyone in BTS loves art, after all.

Still, ARMY must have summoned RM as a result of mistaking J-Hope for him. Today, RM shared some namjooning moments, including both nature and museum photos, showing that autumn has officially begun in South Korea!

He even included a video of his bike ride! They say “don’t text and drive,” but how about “tweet and ride?”

Certainly, there’s no denying that RM and J-Hope are unique, but of course, being close friends for over eight years, the Social Proximity Effect is sure to work overtime as you’re bound to pick up some of each other’s habits too along the way.
