BLACKPINK Reunites And Surprises Fans With OT4 Content

The OT4 drought is finally over!

BLACKPINK fans have been going crazy waiting for updates from YG Entertainment about when the immensely popular group will finally have another comeback.

Individually the members have been working hard to promote themselves and their group.

Member Jennie has been stunning fans with her work as a model and brand ambassador, recently uploading a vlog to her YouTube channel to show off her recent shoot with HERA.

Member Lisa recently finished promoting her solo debut, setting records left and right with both tracks “LALISA” and “MONEY.”

Member Jisoo is going viral for both her compelling performance in her K-Drama Snowdrop and her chemistry with her co-star Jung Hae In.

And member Rosé recently collaborated with a popular sleep and meditation app, Calm, to add her voice to the collection of “Sleep Stories” that the idol has admitted she even uses herself.

But while the members are active, putting out lots of individual content for fans, even if simply in the form of cute vlogs or stunning Instagram posts, many fans have been disappointed with the lack of content in the form of group activities.

BLACKPINK’s last comeback was The Album which was released back in October of 2020.

The Album was the first full-length album from the group and included impressive collaborations with Western artists Selena Gomez and Cardi B.

And while the music video for their title track, “Lovesick Girls,” currently has over 500 million views, BLINKS are desperate for a new comeback since it has been over a year without YG Entertainment even confirming future plans.

BLINKs miss the group’s interactions so much that they were even making compilations on Twitter of all four members simply hugging to give them “ot4 solace.”

But it seems like BLACKPINK heard their fans’ need for group content, and the group went on their VLIVE Channel+ (a part of VLIVE where fans have to pay to see specific content) to reunite with each other and talk to fans.

The VLIVE started with members Jisoo and Lisa, but quickly Rosé joined in and eventually Jennie too, to surprise fans by making it a group VLIVE.

The members showed off their clingy sides with each other, goofing around, talking to fans, and posing for screenshots.

Fans were unsurprisingly emotional at the unexpected group content they had been waiting so long for.

And while fans’ hearts were full, finally seeing the group reunited, member Jisoo decided to give them more of what they wanted.

Jisoo took to Instagram to upload two photos of all four members posing together, smiling happily.

Jisoo even captioned the photo “Blackpink.” leaving no room for doubt that even though the members might have been working on individual schedules, their bond is still as close as ever.

Fans can hope that maybe this sudden group content means something is coming in the near future, but no matter what, at least this new content is something BLINKs can treasure.
