But when Suga surprised fans by appearing with PSY to perform their hit song “That That” at the Splash Show – 2022 Summer Swag, it wasn’t like any previous concert he’d performed at.

In a behind-the-scenes clip of the rehearsal process, Suga truly proved his professionalism, with the idol and PSY both suggesting ideas to make the collaboration an even greater success. During rehearsals, both PSY and Suga thought that the stage looked good.

And Suga admitted that he was excited to perform since it had been a while since he “performed on stage.”

It’s gonna be fun. How long has it been? I haven’t performed since Las Vegas. I did some other external works but I never performed on stage. I thought it’d be nice to perform.

The idol was especially excited about the experience since he hadn’t performed in front of a venue like this before.

We’re gonna have to see how the vibe is like. It’s really different from our concerts so I think I’ll learn a lot. 35,000 people, all standing. I can’t really tell what it’s gonna look like. So I think it’ll be completely different. I’ll see what it’s like.

While monitoring the concert backstage, Suga was shocked by how different PSY’s summer concert is from BTS’s usual concerts. But he was still excited to have the new experience.

It’s so different from our concerts. It looks really fun.

Headed to the stage, Suga also admitted that it felt different to walk to the stage by himself instead of with his members.

It really feels different. I feel much more comfortable when there’s seven of us together.

Even leaving the venue feels different than what the idol is used to, as Suga took the same exit that he usually does after a concert, but this time the feeling was unusual since he wasn’t leaving his own concert.

We always left through this door after our concerts. It feels weird to go out this way during someone else’s concert.

But regardless of the changes, Suga gave an incredible performance as always.
