In a recent Kyoongtube update, EXO‘s Baekhyun shared his playlist with fans, and one of the songs he recommended was Ariana Grande and The Weeknd‘s “Love Me Harder.”
This isn’t the first time Baekhyun’s recommended an Ariana Grande song. He’s recommended “Almost Is Never Enough” by her and Nathan Sykes multiple times on FLO, a music streaming platform.

Baekhyun confessed that he was actually a huge fan of Ariana, commenting how it was so cool that she could sing so powerfully despite her small stature. It’s a bit ironic in the most adorable way coming from Baekhyun: he’s one of K-Pop’s vocal powerhouses, and while he isn’t small, he gives off soft and tiny vibes, especially when next to EXO’s SKY line (Sehun, Kai, and Chanyeol).
Baekhyun has listened to a mashup of his song “Stay Up” with Ariana’s song “Bloodline” on YouTube, and just from that, his dream collaboration was established. The mashup boasts over 1.5 million views, so he isn’t alone in thinking that their voices would sound incredible together. After all, they’re captivating when they sing R&B (honestly, they’re amazing no matter the genre), and their vocal ranges and tones are insane.
He also commented under a Twitter post that mixed his song “Ghost” and Ariana’s “Touch It” together, declaring his desire to collaborate with Ariana since two years ago. It’s clear that Baekhyun’s been a long-time fan of Ariana, and his biggest dream as an artist is to collaborate with her.

In complete humility, Baekhyun said that if he continued to work hard, there was a 1% chance he could actually work with Ariana Grande. We’re pretty sure the percentage is way higher, especially since Ariana has interacted with K-Pop idols in the past. And if Baekhyun wants something, either EXO-Ls or the universe will make sure he gets it.
While listening to “Love Me Harder,” Baekhyun couldn’t help but express cute jealousy towards The Weeknd before promising that he could really support Ariana Grande well if they collaborated.
We 100% believe him, and if this dream collaboration ever happens, the entire world will be mesmerized by their ethereal vocals. For now, we’ll settle with mashups, including this epic transition from Ariana to Baekhyun while singing “Dangerous Woman” (SuperM‘s “Dangerous Woman” starts with a sample of Ariana’s “Dangerous Woman).
