f(x) and Red Velvet confirmed for comeback this fall

As news of Red Velvet and f(x)’s pending comeback due this fall, SM Entertainment has clarified speculations of their possible promotional activities. 

On August 13th, it was speculated that f(x) will be returning with their fourth studio album by the end of September, almost a year and two months since their Red Light release. The speculations brought light to SM Entertainment’s previous entertainment that they plan to release a new album this year, following confirmation of Sulli’s leave.

Fans, in particular, were hyped of their return after holding a united front during their first performance as a quartet at the London Korean Festival in London, United Kingdom.

To clarify the speculations, the agency explained that after focusing on their individual activities since wrapping up promotions for Red Light and Sulli focusing on acting, it was agreed that the group is expected to return to the limelight by October. The schedule was also set to make way for Red Velvet who will be promoting with their follow-up album in September.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment previously reported that Red Velvet and f(x) are expected to join Girls’ Generation for a strong hype of comebacks.
