Yeji and Ryujin recently participated in Studio Choom‘s newest series, “MIX & MAX.” Their choreography is to Bebe Rexha’s 2021 song “Break My Heart Myself.” The concept takes inspiration from the film Terminal and its depiction of twins.

The captivating duet caught the attention of many, including the artist herself, Bebe Rexha.

The singer-songwriter commented on the YouTube video, saying she was “obsessed.”

And she also tweeted her impression of the performance.

Yeji and Ryujin responded with their thanks through ITZY’s official Twitter account.

After the attention the song has received from Yeji and Ryujin’s cover, Bebe Rexha revealed that her label would promote “Break My Heart Myself” in South Korea, something she is thankful for.

This isn’t the first time the singer has experienced the impact of K-Pop artists. TXT‘s Soobin has made it known that Bebe Rexha is his celebrity crush, and the pair have even communicated on social media. With the artist down for a collab, all fans are waiting for is the green light from HYBE.

One fan even alluded to this relationship, joking that Soobin is now trying to convince Studio Choom to let him dance to a Bebe Rexha song as well.

Bebe Rexha is no stranger to the K-Pop scene. She’s an accomplished songwriter and participated in the writing of SHINee‘s hit song “Lucifer.”

Though it was never a single, Bebe has admitted that “Break My Heart Myself” was always her favorite song.

ITZY fans have pointed to the upcoming promotion of Bebe Rexha’s song as proof of the girl group’s “undeniable impact.”

With Yeji and Ryujin’s “MIX & MAX” cover gathering over 6.3 million views in just three days, it seems the performance has mutually benefited both artists.
