Ji Chang Wook And Kang Ha Neul Auditioned To Be In A Military Musical Together

The two stars have auditioned for the musical “Shinheung Military Academy”.

Ji Chang Wook and Kang Ha Neul have auditioned for a musical produced by the Ministry of National Defense.

 

Both actors enlisted in the army less than a year ago.

Ji Chang Wook entered a recruit training center in Cheolwon, Gangwon-do on August 14, 2017.

Kang Ha Neul entered an army training center in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do on September 11, 2017.

 

The two actors have worked together before in the musical “Thrill Me” back in 2010.

 

The audition they participated in this time was for the musical “Shinheung Military Academy”, which was open to all general soldiers. Ji Chang Wook and Kang Ha Neul were simply one of these participants, and it hasn’t been confirmed if they had been cast or not.

“The musical is organized by the Ministry of National Defense and we sent out an announcement for the audition to all general soldiers. We did the auditions for the people who applied today and they are still in progress. “Shinheung Military Academy” is a musical based on a true story that was set in 1910 about a group of young people who gather in Manchuria to restore national sovereignty from the Japanese Occupation.

The musical is scheduled for a total of 20 performances at the National Museum of Korea starting in November.
