Lee Joon sends MBLAQ his well wishes as the group nears first comeback as a trio

In a recent interview, actor Lee Joon sent his well wishes to his former idol group MBLAQ, who are currently preparing their comeback as a trio for the first time.

Meeting an OSEN reporter for an interview at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on May 28th, questions regarding MBLAQ’s earlier announcement that day of a comeback were brought up.

Lee Joon commented, “I wish them well, I haven’t heard the song yet, but I believe they will do well.”

He then clarifies reports and rumors that said he will solely focus on acting after leaving J.Tune Camp and MBLAQ last year, and said, “What I meant to say is that I will concentrate on my acting for awhile, not that I will quit my commitments as a singer. I am not satisfied with my acting right now, so I’m focusing on that. I will try [returning to singing] if I am given the chance.”

“Instead of simply deciding that I wanted to concentrate being an actor, it happened naturally. I’ve always wanted to act since I was in my third year in middle school and I took classes to learn how to act in high school, so I naturally came to this position.”

Currently, Lee Joon is taking part of the drama Heard It Through The Grapevine on SBS which will end its airing with its last episode on June 2nd.
