NCT DREAM’s First Full Album “Hot Sauce” Tops iTunes Charts Around The World

They’ve even earned platinum in China!

On May 10, NCT DREAM released their first full album called Hot Sauce with the title track of the same name. Since its release, Hot Sauce has earned many amazing achievements! The album surpassed an impressive number of 1.7 million copies sold. “Hot Sauce” became the fastest song on Melon to reach 10,000 likes in 2021.

Alongside those achievements, it has been topping charts from all around the world! Domestically, the album charted high on Hanteo Chart, and all of the songs on the album swept the competition on Genie, Flo, and Bugs.

Internationally, the album has come in first for iTunes Top Albums charts in 37 regions: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Brunei, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The album was also certified platinum by China’s QQ Music for recording sales over 1 million yuan (about has also certified “Hot Sauce” as a “platinum album,” which is a title given to albums that record sales of over 1 million yuan (about $155,550 USD). The album also ranked number one on the digital album sales charts in China for QQ Music, Kuwo Music, and Kugou Music. In Japan, it topped the Album Top 100 Chart for Line Music and the real-time chart for Rakuten Music.
