NCT’s Taeyong Lands First Judge Role Through Mnet’s Female Dance Crew Survival Show

The perfect choice for a dance competition judge.

NCT’s Taeyong has landed his first judging role in a survival show through Mnet‘s female dance crew show Street Woman Fighter.

According to an exclusive report from SPOTV, Taeyong has been selected as one of the judges for Street Woman Fighter. Street Woman Fighter is Mnet’s first female only dance crew survival show, and eight teams will battle for the crown of the best dance crew in Korea. A variety of dance styles will be featured on the show — from hip-hop and waacking to locking, crumping, and breakdance.

Taeyong was selected as he is considered one of the best performers and dancers in K-Pop during his time with NCT, their various subunits, and SuperM. He is able to showcase both the elegant, minute details of a choreography as well as the moments intense energy and power during his dance. Taeyong is regarded as an idol with overwhelming charisma on stage who can take over at any time.

This will be Taeyong’s first ever judging role in any program, and he will be joined by fellow SM Entertainment label mate BoA. Expectations are high for his judging and feedback, given his dance prowess. Street Woman Fighter will premiere in August.
