Red Velvet’s Seulgi Explained Why She Wanted To Collaborate With GOT7’s BamBam, And It Had BamBam Feeling Shy

She has a point!

GOT7‘s BamBam and Red Velvet‘s Seulgi hung out recently on an Instagram live stream and discussed the release of their collaboration, “Who Are You.” Seulgi took the opportunity to explain why she chose to collaborate with BamBam in the first place.

It all began when BamBam appeared as a guest on Seulgi’s live show, Seulgi.Zip, and suggested that the two of them collaborate.

BamBam claimed he had just been throwing the idea out there, but it’s also true that he has been wanting to work with Seulgi for a long time now.

Seulgi then claimed that she got a good feeling about the song when she first heard it.

After some flattery from BamBam…

…she went on to say that she had loved the song and its concept, and that she had also always wanted to try doing contemporary dance.

Then she said that the reason she had been interested in this collaboration was because of BamBam’s dance skills, adding that she felt like “Who Are You” would be a great opportunity for her as an artist.

BamBam immediately went soft at the compliment…

…which is probably why fans lightheartedly tease him about how he gets around his female idol friends.

It’s great to see these two friends hang out with each other and be supportive of their work. Seulgi certainly has a point about BamBam’s dancing prowess! With any luck, this won’t be the last time we get to see them work (and hang out) together like this.
