Song Joong Ki Will Be Leaving His Current Agency, Blossom Entertainment

He will be looking for a new agency.

Asia star actor Song Joong Ki will now be a free agent after confirming he will not be renewing his contract with his current agency, Blossom Entertainment, once it expires at the end of 2019.

According to an exclusive report from Sports Chosun, Song Joong Ki decided not to renew his contract and set out on a new path.

Song Joong Ki will be wrapping up his 7 year contract with Blossom Entertainment and set out alone on his own new path.

Following the news, Blossom Entertainment confirmed Song Joong Ki would leave the agency once his contract expires at the end of 2019.

Song Joong Ki’s contract with us expires at the end of December. There are no plans for him to renew his contract with us.

Reports stated that Song Joong Ki would be joining Kakao M following his departure from Blossom Entertainment, however Kakao M denied those reports.

The reports are not true. We have not tried to recruit Song Joong Ki.

Song Joong Ki joins Kim Woo Bin and Kim Soo Hyun in what appears to be the hottest free agent market for actors in recent history. All 3 actors have contracts expiring with their previous agencies, leaving companies eager to try and attract them as their new agency.
