In a recent episode of Snacked on the First We Feast YouTube channel, Somi went through all of her favorite snacks, both well-known and underground.

All of the snacks have a degree of emotional weight for Somi, but one of them in particular transports her back to Canada, where much of her family resides. The snack in question? Lay’s ketchup-flavored potato chips.

Many people have probably never tried these, as they’re not widely available outside of Canada, and Somi laments this fact in the video. She even goes so far as to say, “My roots are here,” while patting the bag. Clearly, this chip love is a strong one!

Somi nearly gets chills when eating her beloved chips, then mentions that the chips aren’t the only thing that makes her feel Canadian. The other thing thing that reminds her of her Canadian-ness is a simple two-letter word: “eh.”
